  • Overview

    Rudy’s Recruiters set the standard for quality technical services by developing, implementing and modeling technical and professional standards for Rudy's Barbershops. 

    Responsibilities

     

    • Screen all applicants for assigned markets and requisitions
    • Evaluate the skill level of applicants by way of phone screens, in-person interviews and test cuts
    • Attend recruiting events including but not limited to; career fairs, school presentations, demos, and salon tours
    • Create swag bags for events and communicate with the Marketing and Retail department on swag needs
    • Source and recruit interns for each cohort and maintain the intern database
    • Establish and cultivate on-going relationships with Beauty and Barbering Schools
    • Communicate with Education Department on all intern new hires
    • Assess skill level and recommend education classes for all new hires
    • Create class calendars for new hires and communicate with Shop Managers and STL’s
    • Accurately complete and maintain all recruiting documents, emails and candidate notes in iCIMS (Applicant Tracking System)
    • Communicate effectively with other recruiting markets, HQ departments and candidates
    • Potential to be a substitute for classes within the Education Department
    • Support the Recruiting Manager in various recruiting efforts as needed

    Qualifications

    • Must be a licensed Cosmetologist with strong technical skills
    • Must have the ability to mentor and guide new stylists and barbers
    • Must be organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
    • Must be a strong communicator who is not afraid of delivering constructive feedback
    • Must feel comfortable speaking and conducting demonstrations in front of large groups
    • Must have good phone etiquette
    • Experience with Microsoft Office and digital research
    • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of Rudy’s culture, policies and recruiting procedures
    • Above anything else, always conduct all interactions in a friendly and professional manner
