Overview

Rudy’s is a storied Seattle brand 25 years in the making. We’re reinventing the grooming and beauty industry as a beacon of effortless style, for everybody. That’s where you come in.

Rudy’s is looking for a unicorn. Simple, right? This role is for you if anyone has ever called you a “jack of all trades” or if you crave a creative, fun and hardworking atmosphere where you can truly see your work brought to life (not just left on the cutting room floor). Brand and product design experience are a must. You should be comfortable producing work that runs the gamut of digital channels (website, blog, email, social, etc.). The Graphic Designer will report to our Art Director, but will also work closely and independently with multiple departments to optimize existing content resources and ensure alignment and consistency at all touch points. In return, you will become part of a small but growing team that gets to continue to push the envelope and redefine an industry.

Responsibilities

  • At least 2-3 years of graphic design experience at an in-house brand, design firm, advertising agency, digital agency or similar, with specific expertise in digital and web-based design
  • Ability to design, concept, and execute creative ideas
  • Proficiency with designing and producing final creative assets for web, blog, social, email, and other digital channels
  • Experience editing photo and video assets
  • Some web development skills and comfort navigating a CMS
  • A status quo challenger with insatiable curiosity

Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years of graphic design experience at an in-house brand, design firm, advertising agency, digital agency or similar, with specific expertise in digital and web-based design

  • A strong portfolio of work with specific examples of campaign and design work (not just pitches or ideas)
  • Command of creative software, including the Adobe Suite
  • Experience in web development and front-end design
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • A strong team player who loves collaboration, but can take initiative on projects

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US:

  • The opportunity to innovate and collaborate with proven leaders
  • A true voice in the room and ability to make meaningful company decisions
  • A comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, vision, and dental
  • A generous product discount
  • Autonomy
